Beacon Hospital’s charitable foundation continues to change the lives of seriously ill patients and their families.
Beacon Foundation is a registered charity established to raise and provide funding for innovative ideas, health care programmes or initiatives and research studies that currently do not have a clear reimbursement strategy, or which are under-funded and require additional resources.
The concept of comprehensive medical care is no longer restricted to the doctor-patient-hospital interaction. Care of patients and making their treatment and journey easier is the priority of Beacon Foundation. To achieve a truly comprehensive care model, patients must have access to not only to the best evidence-based medical and surgical treatments, but also to clinical trials, unreimbursed new technologies such as personalised medicine (genomics), education, counselling, and complimentary therapies. These are the services that Beacon Foundation seeks to support.
