Bachelor of Medicine (University of Newcastle, Australia) – graduated 2004, Specialist registrar training in General Medicine and Respiratory Medicine in Australia. Masters of Science in Public Health (Disaster Medicine) completed in Italy in 2009.

Dr Rigby is a medical consultant physician with International qualifications and experience in Europe and Australia. She holds specialist qualifications in General and Respiratory Medicine and holds sub-speciality expertise in lung transplantation medicine.
She was the youngest female appointed consultant to the prestigious State Heart & Lung Transplant Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Australia. A dual Finnish and Australian citizen, Amy has worked internationally extensively with her Masters in Public health being awarded by the University of Piemonte in Italy, when she was undertaking further studies and work experience at Cambridge university hospitals and Royal Papworth Hospital. A mother of 4 young children Amy successfully balances the demands of a highly skilled professional position with a young family.
