Mr. Shuhaibar graduated from Trinity College Dublin and attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in General Surgery. He travelled extensively to meetings and courses in Europe and North America. Mr. Shuhaibar attained the Intercollegiate Board Examination and received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic Surgery. He was a Visiting Fellow to the East Carolina Heart Institute, Brody School of Medicine(USA) and has had extensive training in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery at the prestigious Leipzig Heart Centre (Germany). Mr Shuhaibar is a founding member of Lung Cancer Initiative to provide direct access to patients suspected of having lung cancer.

Mark completed his general surgery and cardiothoracic training in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, Maryland, USA. During his 3 years on faculty, he held a number of prominent positions, including:
Director of Paediatric Heart and Lung Transplant
Co-Director of the Albert Broccoli Centre for Aortic Diseases,
Director of The Cardiac Research Laboratories at Johns Hopkins.
He returned to Ireland in 2000 and is currently a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and The Mater Misericordiae Hospital, together with Beacon Hospital and The Mater Private Hospital.

Mr Lars Nölke, is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Lars completed his cardiothoracic specialist training in Ireland, before taking up a post as Visiting Professor at the Department of Paediatric Cardiac surgery at University of California in San Francisco for 2 years.
Lars returned to Ireland in 2005 and is currently consultant cardiothoracic and transplantation surgeon at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. He has admitting and operating privileges at the Beacon Hospital.
Lars is actively involved in training and education within cardiothoracic surgery in Ireland.
