Ms Yasmin Ismail on Skin Cancer Risks and How to Protect Yourself with Newstalk

Yasmin Ismail joined Kieran on the Hard Shoulder Health Check this week.

Yasmin is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon here in Beacon Hospital. On Newstalk she spoke about skin cancer, and how skin cancer has an increasing incidence rate here in Ireland.  Yasmin also discussed how pale skin increases the risk of burns when exposed to the sun which can led to skin cancer.

Yasmin gave her tips on how to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather while protecting your skin, and how to recognize any changes in your skin.
