How to Manage Health Anxiety with Dr Grant
Health anxiety is the constant belief that you have a symptom or symptoms of a severe illness. Previously known as hypochondriasis, illness anxiety disorder (IAD) is a spectrum of disease ranging from mild to severe. Even mild forms of illness anxiety can be difficult to manage.
Dr Grant is asked how best to help a partner with suspected health anxiety. Dr Grant discusses the diagnostic criteria for IAD and how it can be managed.
