10th Annual Irish SRS & SBRT Symposium

10th Annual Irish SRS and SBRT Symposium on Friday 15th September

The 10th Annual Irish Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy Symposium is taking place on Friday 15th September and is set to be the most successful symposium yet.

The first Irish SRS & SBRT Symposium in 2011 was led by Professor Alina Mihai, Consultant Radiation Oncologist here in Beacon Hospital. The Radiotherapy team at Beacon Hospital held the first SRS & SBRT Symposium three years after SBRT was first introduced at Beacon Hospital. Following the incredible success of this first symposium, it became an annual event led by radiotherapy teams from national centres Beacon Hospital, St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network and Hermitage Medical Clinic.

The Symposium has grown to an international event, with world-renowned speakers from Europe, USA and Canada. These expert speakers are at the forefront of Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy.

The Symposium fosters collaboration and learning in a professional environment. It is a unique opportunity to come together and contribute to the advance of Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy with colleagues and industry leaders. In attendance are medical professionals including Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Radiotherapists, Physicists, Neurosurgeons, Oncology Nurses, Therapists, trainees, researchers and more.

As this is the 10th Annual Symposium, it promises to be the most successful symposium and offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders. The clinical and technical aspects of SRS & SBRT will be covered in 2023’s Symposium, with a focus on intracranial and extracranial applications.
