St Martin’s on Top at Beacon Hospital All-Ireland Camogie 7s.
The final event of the Beacon Hospital All-Ireland 7s Series was the Camogie 7s, held on Saturday 6th August. The day saw action across pitches in Glenalbyn and Silverpark as some of the finest players in the country battled it out for the Proinnsías Ó Crónín Cup and the Sean Flynn Shield.

After a day of fierce competition on the pitch, St Martin’s from Wexford came out on top to win the Proinnsías Ó Crónín Cup! St Martin’s beat Clonduff from Down in the final match of the day.

All-Ireland 7s Series
The Beacon Hospital All-Ireland 7s Series took place over four weekends in July and August. The event for each code was held the eve before the respective All-Ireland Final.
In addition to sponsoring Kilmacud Crokes, Beacon Hospital are proud to sponsor the All-Ireland 7s Series. This year is a milestone as it is the first time all 4 codes of hurling, football, camogie and ladies football are supported by one title sponsor. Of the sponsorship Kevin Foley, Club Chairman of Kilmacud Crokes said: “This coming together across all four Gaelic codes is a tremendous innovation and is a significant statement in support of equality of participation between men and women in sport”.
