Working Life: New Laser Treatment for Enlarged Prostate
Dr Michel de Wildt, Consultant Urologist at Beacon Hospital, was featured in the Irish Examiner ‘Working Life’ series discussing a newer laser-based procedure for benign prostate enlargement (BPH), known as HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate).
In the interview, Dr de Wildt explains how HoLEP is used to remove obstructive prostate tissue and how it compares with traditional approaches such as TURP.
