Third Cath Lab Official Opening

Official Opening of Beacon Hospital’s Third Cath Lab!

Last week we had the Official Opening of our Third Cath Lab! This follows the opening of our new Cath Lab Admissions and Recovery Suite in August 2023.

This Cath Lab represents a 7 million investment and will increase our Cath Lab capacity by 40%. This will also enable us to provide an improved patient experience and increase facilities for our staff.

Our Cath Lab team provide a comprehensive range of cardiology services including Angiography and PCI, Structural heart, Congenital, Electrophysiology, and Cardiac Rhythm Management.

Over the last year an incredible amount of work has gone into the development of both our third Cath Lab, and our Admissions and Recovery Suite.

Last week’s celebration was a great event in recognition of the work involved in this project over the year. The support and work required from many of our departments and staff members across the hospital is not to be underestimated. A huge thanks to all involved!
