NEW!! Official Opening of Radiology South!

Last week we celebrated the Official Opening of Radiology South!

Although the department is already open and receiving patients, we wanted to take the opportunity to formally open, acknowledge and thank all those involved.

A special thanks to all involved, in particular the Project Management team, and the entire team in Radiology for their trojan work.

Radiology South is an expansion of our existing Radiology Department, the most technologically advanced in all of Ireland!

This latest investment in our Radiology department will allow us to provide additional capacity for our patients. It includes a new Dexa machine, as well as a brand-new CT Scanner and MRI machine from Siemens. The new MRI machine will allow us to further advance our Cardiac MRI (CMR) offering and will provide the latest and most advanced cardiac imaging. This new CMR Centre is the largest of its kind in Ireland.

Congratulations to all the team involved, there has been a huge amount of work behind the scenes to get to this milestone moment!
