International Women’s Day Celebrations
On Friday 8th March, we celebrated International Women’s Day in Beacon Hospital.
On Friday morning our COO Jacqueline Robinson hosted a staff breakfast to celebrate International Women’s Day.
This year the theme of International Women’s Day is #InspireInclusion. When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. We believe it is vital to support women in everything they do, from thriving in their workplace, to empowering their healthcare choices. At Beacon Hospital we are incredibly lucky to have fantastic, strong and inspirational women on our team who have pivotal roles across the hospital.
On International Women’s Day, we pay tribute to the trailblazing women who have paved the way for progress and equality, both in healthcare and beyond. We come together not only to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide, but also to reaffirm our commitment to equality and inclusivity in our hospital community.
Our hospital staff is comprised of 75% women and is enriched by the unique perspectives and contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. It is this diversity that makes us stronger and more resilient.
Supporting women and each other in both the workplace and beyond is crucial for fostering empowerment and collective success.
