Decongestant Spray After Covid with Dr Grant
This week Dr Grant received a question from a concerned patient who is using a decongestant spray after Covid-19. This patient still feels they are suffering from sinus issues.
Dr Grant explains that is very common to have post-Covid sinusitis which this patient describes, or bronchitis which may result in a persistent cough. Typically, the symptoms for both post-Covid sinusitis and bronchitis will settle down within a few weeks. However, it is possible to speed up recovery.
Dr Grant lists the best treatment for ongoing symptoms after Covid. This patient is using a decongestant spray after covid to relieve sinus symptoms, however Dr Grant recommends that the patient uses a steroid nasal spray instead.
