Follow Up Care Program

Bariatric Surgery is the first step in your journey. A follow up care program is vital in your long-term success. It ensures your health is monitored and optimised as you recover and continue on your weight loss journey.

  • Surgeon visits at key milestones after your surgery
  • Dietitian consults to help you with your new eating plan
  • Psychology support for the emotional and behavioural changes that come with surgery
  • Nurse phone line with 24/7 availability for post-op concerns
  • Exercise routine and program tailored for you

Our specialist multidisciplinary follow-up care program will guide you each step of the way through your recovery to better health.

Schedule of Follow Up Care Program

Six weeks after surgery you will have a follow up appointment with your Consultant Bariatric Surgeon. You will also have a follow up review at 6 months and at 12 months post-op.

Three days after your surgery, you will have a phone call with your dietitian.

There will be in-person check-in appointments at 6 weeks, 6 months and 12 months after your surgery. In addition, there will be phone consultations at 3 months and 18 months post-op.
