Training & Experience:

Dr Saboohi Tariq is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in minimally invasive surgery and complex benign gynaecology. Dr Tariq has extensive experience in laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometriosis surgery, fibroids, pelvic pain, urogynaecology and operative hysteroscopy. She is committed to patient-centred care, clear communication and achieving the best outcomes using minimally invasive techniques wherever possible.

Following her specialist training in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ireland, she undertook her formal advanced minimally invasive surgery training at Rotunda Hospital and James Connolly Hospital which culminated in a Fellowship in Complex Benign Gynaecology accredited by AAGL.

Dr Tariq holds memberships with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists UK (MRCOG), the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) and Fellowship in Complex Benign Gynaecology from American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). She continues to contribute to research, teaching, and quality improvement in gynaecology.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Tariq is an active educator and mentor. She served as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Trinity College Dublin and is RCPI faculty member for national surgical skills and training programmes.
