Mr Prasad Ellanti

After graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2004, Mr Ellanti completed his basic surgical training in 2007. Having developed a keen interest in orthopaedics, he obtained his FRCS Diploma in 2018 (with medal). He then completed an arthroplasty fellowship in 2018 followed by a trauma fellowship in 2019. Mr Ellanti has a keen interest in arthroplasty of the hip and knee as well as complex trauma. He became a consultant in 2020 and having worked in several hospitals in Dublin, was appointed as an orthopaedic consultant in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in 2022.

Mr Ellanti has been a Consultant since 2020 having completed fellowships in arthroplasty and Trauma. He has appointments in Beacon Hospital, Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

He has an interest in teaching and research, having published over 60 articles on various topics in Trauma and orthopaedics. There are over a 1000 citations of his published works. He has supervised multiple masters of surgery candidates.

He Obtained SICOT Diploma in Trauma in Orthopaedics in 2016 and European Board of Orthopaedics Diploma in 2016. He has a Diploma in medical education and a Diploma in health service management and leadership, 2021. A Masters in Surgery 2022.
