Training & Education:
Mr Matthew Lee is a Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Consultant appointed in St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin and The Beacon Hospital.
He Graduated MB BCh BAO in 2010 from Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland. He was awarded his FRCS Tr&Orth Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in 2022 following completion of the Irish Higher Surgical Training Scheme.
He completed two years of specialist international surgical fellowship programmes focusing on orthopaedic oncology and adult hip and knee replacement. The first year was in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia, and following this The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, UK, maintaining strong links with both centres.
Experience:
Mr Lee specialises in adult hip and knee arthritis, hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic joint replacement surgery and revision surgery. He has experience in the management of trauma injuries. He has presented his research both nationally and internationally and remains heavily involved in training.
