Education and Training:
Graduated with honours in medicine (MB BCh BAO) from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2012.
Awarded membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) in 2015.
Completed Higher Specialist Training in Medical Oncology in 2020 (training in Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, St Vincent’s University Hospital and University Hospital Waterford).
Research and Professional Award Profile:
Completing research doctorate degree via the RCSI Strategic Academic Research (STAR) MD programme into the use of PI3K inhibitors to overcome resistance to HER2 directed therapy in patients with advanced HER2 positive breast cancer.
Awarded prestigious Conquer Cancer ASCO Young Investigator Award (in memory of Evelyn H Lauder) in 2020.
Presented at international oncology conferences and has authored and co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications.
