Training & Experience:
Professor Sherif EL-Masry is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in Beacon Hospital with interests in Laparoscopy, Hernia Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Endoscopy.
Professor Sherif EL-Masry trained in Egypt, England and Ireland, with Fellowships from Edinburgh, London and Ireland. He is a consultant of General and Colorectal Surgery in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital & Louth County Hospital since 2003 and Beaumont Hospital (2012 to 2020). Also served as Clinical Director in Drogheda (2016 to 2023).
Professor Sherif El-Masry is a Clinical Professor (Honorary) and is the RCSI Undergraduate Dean in Drogheda since 2019.
