Training & Experience:
Mr Seamus McHugh is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Beacon Hospital.
Mr Seamus McHugh graduated from UCD in 2005. He then completed his post graduate research MD with RCSI in 2011. Following surgical training in General and Vascular Surgery in Ireland, he travelled to Toronto where he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He was appointed as Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Beaumont Hospital in 2016.
To date he has published over 50 peer reviewed articles, received the Clinical Research Associate of the Year award at the Irish Healthcare Awards, and is currently the speciality editor for vascular surgery with “The Surgeon” journal.
