Dr Ihsan Ullah

In 2004 Dr Ullah graduated from the University of Peshawar Pakistan before obtaining his MRCPI in 2010. He trained in Cardiology in University Hospital Limerick and completed the Irish Cardiology Training scheme. He then undertook his Fellowship in interventional cardiology in Trinity College Dublin and St James’s Hospital. During this time, he gained a wide range of experience in cardiology, particularly in performing percutaneous coronary intervention.

Dr Ullah is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Beacon Limerick providing a full range of cardiology services.

His specialist interests include complex coronary intervention, Acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases management, Trans catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and valvular heart disease. He is also fully trained in devices implantation.

Dr Ullah has vast experience in Interventional Cardiology having worked as a consultant cardiologist in 24/7 Primary PCI Centers in Ireland for over 6 years. He has also been a consultant interventional Cardiologist in University Hospital Limerick since 2019.

Dr Ullah has worked as a sub investigator in Cardiology & Pharmacy Research Department in St James’s Hospital and has published his research in peer review journals. He has also presented his research at both national and international conferences.

Outside work, Dr Ullah has keen interest in sports, especially Cricket and enjoys spending time with his family and 3 kids.
