Training & Experience:
Dr Richard Armstrong achieved his undergraduate medical degree from Trinity College Dublin, thereafter completing specialist cardiology training in Ireland. He has an MD awarded through Trinity College Dublin on cardiac autonomic function, following which he completed interventional cardiology training in St James Hospital Dublin and a further complex interventional training in the Royal Hospitals Belfast.
Dr Armstrong has published peer reviewed articles in interventional medical journals in relation to his research on cardiac revascularization and cardiac autonomic function. Dr Armstrong has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist since 2022.
