About Dr Collier:

Dr Nick Collier is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon who specialises in the treatment of all skin conditions. He currently works as a Consultant Dermatologist at Beacon Hospital and Beaumont Hospital.

Dr Collier has clinical interests in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers, precancerous lesions and benign lesions.  He is an experienced Mohs micrographic surgeon, a specialised technique for the treatment of complex and high-risk skin cancers.

He has extensive experience in the management of complex inflammatory skin conditions including acne, psoriasis, eczema and the use of biologic medications. Furthermore, he has expertise in hair and scalp disorders, an area in which he has developed specialist clinical interest.

He completed his dermatology training in world-renowned dermatology centres in London and Manchester. Dr Collier undertook advanced fellowship training in Mohs surgery at Oxford and has undertaken addition training in the USA.  Following his appointment as a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon in 2019, he has delivered specialist care in tertiary dermatology centres across both medical and surgical dermatology.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Collier maintains a strong commitment to teaching and academic medicine. He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Manchester.  He has published extensively in dermatology, co-authored a national dermatology guideline and contributed to several dermatology textbooks.
