Training:
Dr McEniff graduated in medicine from University College Dublin in 1987. After four years on the Irish national radiology scheme he moved to the USA where he did two years of Specialist Training in Interventional Radiology at the New England Medical Center and Tufts University Medical School. He was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts.
Experience:
Dr McEniff has been a Consultant Interventional Radiologist since 1997 and has a particular interest in embolotherapy and minimally invasive cancer treatments. He is a specialist in Fibroid Embolisation and runs a dedicated fibroid clinic in St James’s Hospital and Beacon Hospital.
Dr McEniff has a subspecialty interest in minimally invasive techniques for older patients and is the lead Radiologist with the medicine for the elderly group in St James’s.
