EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Dr Deirdre Waterhouse is a consultant Cardiologist here at Beacon Hospital. Dr Waterhouse has a special interest in Heart Failure and Cardiovascular Imaging.
A graduate of UCD (2003), Dr Waterhouse, was awarded MCPI (2007), MD (2012) and CCST (2015). She undertook subspecialty training in heart failure and advanced cardiac imaging, specifically echocardiography and cardiac MRI in France, the UK and Dublin.
Special Interests:
Dr Waterhouse has an interest in general cardiology as well as Heart Failure; Heart Valve Disease; Cardiomyopathies, including Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Dilated Cardiomyopathy and Cardiac Amyloidosis; Cardiovascular imaging.
Clinical Research:
Dr Waterhouse has been first and co-author on multiple scientific publications, book chapters and national and international scientific presentations.
