Dr. David Coghlan is a paediatrician appointed to the National Children’s Hospital (NCH), Tallaght and Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin (OLHC). He runs independent clinics at Beacon Hospital in Dublin 18.
He qualified from UCD in 1992. Paediatrics and the care of children is a rapidly changing specialty. The majority of children are treated as day cases or for short overnight stay to minimise time away from home. This model of care is the way of the future and treating children in their own home is not too far away. This is his philosophy also and something he feels quite strongly about as a doctor and a parent.
Dr. Coghlan specialises in Asthma, Epilepsy, Recurrent Infections, Allergy/Anaphylaxis, Failure to Thrive, Penicillin Allergy, Convulsions (Fits/Seizures) , Food Allergy, Urinary Tract Infections, Cough, Food Difficulties, Vaccine Reactions, Early Development, Headache and International Adoption – See more at: https://www.beaconhospital.ie/doctors/dr-david-coghlan/#sthash.6qJYQXzf.dpuf
