Mr Brendan Cummings

Mr Brendan Cummings is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing in cataract and refractive surgery.

He is a graduate of the UCD School of Medicine and Medical Sciences. He completed his ophthalmology training with Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Irish College of Ophthalmology in 2023. Brendan has 7 years ophthalmic surgery training and has completed over 1,000 intra-ocular lens procedures. He has worked in the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, the Mater Misercordiae University Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin and Temple Street, University Hospital Waterford, Cork University Hospital and the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital. Brendan’s fellowship training is in cataract and refractive surgery with the Wellington Eye Clinic in Dublin, Ireland.
