Dr Iram Basit graduated from University of Punjab Pakistan in 1992 and moved to Ireland in 1996.
She completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Dublin Maternity Hospitals in 2013. She
worked as a Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist in all three Dublin maternity hospitals.
Dr Iram Basit worked as a lead Clinician for Outpatient Hysteroscopy Clinic in Coombe Women and
Infants University Hospital caring for women with menstrual irregularities and postmenopausal
She is fully trained in Outpatient hysteroscopy procedures, laparoscopic Surgeries, accredited in
Gynaecology scans and Colposcopy. Her area of interest is Abnormal uterine bleeding,
Dysmenorrhea, postmenopausal bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, management of vaginal
prolapse, Ovarian Cysts, management of abnormal smears, PCOS and management of fibroids.
Dr Sharon Moss graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School in 1993 where she completed Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the at the Royal Women’s Hospital. She worked as a consultant gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne from 2002-2003.
Dr Moss then moved to Ireland where she ran the Early Pregnancy Unit at the Rotunda Hospital. In May 2007 she established the Beacon Hospital Women’s Health Centre.
Her specific interests are in pelvic pain, endoscopic surgery, and general gynaecology. The Women’s Health Centre at the Beacon Hospital now has 3 full-time gynaecologists and a dedicated team of nurses and administration staff whose aim is to make the patients journey as easy and as comfortable as possible.
Mr Boos graduated from UCD (1989) as a Gold Medalist. He worked at the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin, The John Radcliff Hospital, Oxford and King’s College Hospital, London.
He is a fully trained Urogynaecologist, Hysteroscopic and Laparoscopic surgeon and his areas of special interest include : Management of urinary incontinence, Complex pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, Repair of ano-rectal injuries following childbirth, and Minimally invasive surgery for all gynaecological conditions.
