Training & Experience:
Dr Haytham Makki is a Consultant Cardiologist in Beacon Hospital.
Dr Haytham Makki finished basic medical training in Ireland in 2012. He then went on to complete Specialist Registrar (SpR) training on rotation through Galway University Hospital, St Vincent’s University Hospitals and St James’ Hospital.
He moved to Manchester and completed two Fellowship programmes in Manchester Royal Infirmary. The first a Coronary Intervention Fellowship followed by a TAVI and Complex Coronary Intervention Fellowship.
Dr Makki worked in Manchester as a consultant before relocating back to Ireland in 2022.
Dr Makki’s areas of specialty include Coronary Interventions, Acute Cardiac Care, Trans-catheter Aortic valve interventions including TAVI, Trans-thoracic and Trans-Oesophageal Echocardiography, and both diagnosis and management of Heart Failure.
